Fundația Zamolxes has implemented a new Erasmus+ project. The project, titled “Entrepreneurship – Path to a Future Career,” was a mobility activity for youth leaders carried out between August 2–9, 2024, at the Zamolxes Youth Cultural Center in Câmpina, Romania. It brought together 22 participants, two trainers, and one facilitator from Cyprus, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, and Romania.

The main aim of the project was to develop the entrepreneurial skills of the 22 participants. Its objectives included creating opportunities to boost participants’ self-esteem and personal motivation to pursue a career in entrepreneurship; developing specific entrepreneurial competencies among the 22 participants from five countries; and enhancing the European dimension and cooperation by involving five European nations representing diverse regions in youth entrepreneurship.

On August 8, a session was held to present the pilot companies established by the participants.

The project was based on non-formal education methods, including ice-breaking games, team-building activities, workshops, seminars, meetings, discussions, integration activities, presentations, and practical learning activities, all connected to the project theme. During the 8 days of mobility, participants developed key competencies in the field of entrepreneurship. The training course was delivered by two trainers and one facilitator experienced in entrepreneurship and non-formal education.

The project was co-funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ Programme.
