The Forest – The Lungs of our Mother Earth
The Forest – The Lungs of our Mother Earth (15–24 March 2024 | Bulgaria, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, Romania) is an Erasmus+ youth mobility project bringing together 45 participants to promote environmental protection and social inclusion. Through non-formal education, participants explore forest conservation, STEAM, and AI, strengthening skills and European cooperation in sustainability.

Fundația Zamolxes from Câmpina will implement the project “The Forest – The Lungs of our Mother Earth,” an Erasmus+ youth mobility taking place between March 15–24, 2024, bringing together 45 participants from five countries: Bulgaria, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, and Romania. The project aims to promote environmental protection and social inclusion among young people. It will also address a relevant topic: the use of STEAM and AI in environmental protection.
The project is based on non-formal education methods, including ice-breaking games, team-building activities, workshops, seminars, meetings, discussions, integration activities, presentations, and practical learning activities, all connected to the project theme. During the 10 days of mobility, participants will learn how to protect forests and how to integrate technology and artificial intelligence into youth work. There will be working sessions led by experts in environmental protection.
The project is co-funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ Programme.
